EUCO WINTER ADMIXTURE (EWA) is a versatile liquid calcium chloride additive designed to speed up the setting time of mortar, boost strength development at all stages, and enhance workability. It is safe to use with both gray and white Portland cement or colored masonry cements without causing any discoloration.

When tested in accordance with ASTM C494, Type C, EUCO WINTER ADMIXTURE meets the standards and demonstrates a freeze-thaw relative durability factor of 102%. In compliance with ASTM C494, Type C, this product increases the one-day strength by at least 125% compared to plain mortar and accelerates the setting time by a minimum of 1 hour, but no more than 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Important Note:

This product does not protect plastic mortar from freezing. However, it allows the mortar to gain strength at a faster rate in cold conditions. Mortar should reach a minimum strength of 500 psi (3.4 MPa) before being exposed to freezing temperatures.
