Tumbled fire glass has various uses including terrazzo flooring, concrete countertops, aquarium gravel, fire pits, and more. Colors are mostly consistent, mostly translucent, though darker colors are less so. With the exception of white, standard colors are not opaque allowing light to pass through them. Nearly all sharp edges are removed in a proprietary tumbling process. Blues, greens and crystal clear are especially popular.
